What is your community interest? It's easy! Just choose one of the non-profit agencies from the list. There is no minimum balance requirement, but when your daily balance is $750 or more, Animas Credit Union will donate the interest earned on your behalf to the charity you've chosen. Since the Community Interest earned goes directly to your charity, it isn't credited to your account. You won't pay taxes on the interest income, nor can you deduct the donation.
